IPP is looking for a European RF Sales Manager
Stationed in Italy, Germany or The Netherlands
We have been serving the Aerospace and Defense industry since 1973. We represent principals from the UK, USA and Australia. We are responsible for design-in and sales of electro-mechanical components and electro-optical devices. Our company has a solid reputation across the European Aerospace and Defense industry and we have worked with the same principals for many years.
One of our principals is Delta RF, https://www.deltarf.com/. Delta Electronics is a leading global provider of innovative RF, microwave and millimeter wave interconnect solutions. Your focus will be entirely on their product ranges.
Our Sales Managers
We have Sales Managers who have engineering / technical experience coupled with very strong sales ability. They work with our customers to identify requirements and work with the factories to come up with specialized solutions. Customers have very specific technical questions and expect, often in the first contact, possible solutions. This means that, with your technical background, you fully advise the customer in the design-in phase. Our Sales Managers work with independence and feel confident about their abilities and our products. They know their customers, the marketplace, and what programs and projects are underway.
This is a new position. You will find new business throughout Europe and advise our existing customers. This job is right for you if you have strong selling skills and are able to work independently. You like being in front of customers working on solutions and closing deals, and you have a strong ( mechanical or electrical ) engineering background combined with an existing network of contacts in the industry. Experience in aerospace, defense, or telecommunications industry will add weight to your application. A preference goes out to candidates living in Italy, Germany or the Netherlands.
You will be supported by the (Dutch) head office for orders, logistics and (some) administrative matters. Our technical experts will support you in case of complex issues. In this position, you will not be managing other personnel, but will be managing your accounts. You will report and register your work in our CRM.
You will be constantly searching for new projects and – even more so – opportunities. We expect you to be up and running effectively from the start following initial training. The deals we work on in this business often go through long design phases and it can take long for proper orders to materialize. However, good programs will keep delivering business year after year.
Your English needs to be excellent (C1/C2 CEFR). Knowledge of other languages is a plus, international experience in selling is a must. You have higher vocational or academic education and at least 5 years of relevant (B2B sales in RF) working experience in the RF field.
