LEDS
High Bright LED Lighting
New design approach using only white LEDs filtered for all the desired colours
- Much higher light intensity - 250% brighter than the above version
- Full sunlight readability per M22885
- Full sunlight readable/ANVIS compatible
- Additional colours: White & Blue
ANVIS Blue; White; Green A
- Voltage dimming option available on 28 VDC versions
- May be either sinking or sourcing
Advantages when used for A/C cockpit updates and retrofits
- Dims at the same rate as incandescent devices
- A plug in replacement for incandescent pushbuttons
- Improves system reliability
- Reduces faceplate temperature dramatically
- Increases display contrast ratios
Multi-chip LEDS
Broad Range of T-1 3/4 MFG (Midget Flange Base) LEDs
- Long Life
- Even Lighting
- Lower Current Consumption
- Increased Resistance to Failure by Shock and Vibration
- Substantially Less Heat when compared to Incandescent Lamps
LED illumination is available for lighted display pushbutton switches and
indicators. Suitable as direct replacement for T-1 3/4 incandecent lamps,
brightness of the LEDs is sufficient for most lighted legend applications.
They are particularly well suited for use in interior areas with normal
ambient lighting conditions. These multi-chip LEDs contain four or six high
intensity light emitting diode chips, providing a luminance approaching
or equaling that of equivalent incandescent miniture lamps. Their solid
state construction greatly reduces the danger of vibration and shock as
a failure mode.
Available in choice of voltages, 6 VDC through 28 VDC, the LEDs have built-in
resistors and protective diodes. The 6 VDC LEDs have four chips; the 12
VDC and 28 VDC LEDs contain six chips. All units are available with either
positive or negative polarity. In addition to bright, even lighting, further
advantages include greatly extended service life...100,000 hours...lower
current consumption, and substantially less heat when compared to incandescent
lamps.
Voltage is marked on the side of the LED shell. Units are coded for identification
of polarity...positive or negative, and for identification of the lighted
color...red, yellow, or green. |
