EXTERNAL AMMETER SHUNTS

Janco external ammeter shunts are standard production units available from stock or on a minimum time delivery basis. As a result of being designed and built to meet and exceed the requirements of A-A-55524, these shunts possess long life and a high degree of reliability.

A typical life test to which these units have been subjected consists of 5,000 hours of continuous operation at full load with a negligible deviation from initial calibration. Such performance is attributable to the use of superior materials such as, high temperature silver solders and quality resistance materials
for fabrication
